The paradox twins are Vincent and Amanda, San Francisco Bay Area-based intuitive readers who are passionate about creativity, social justice, and going deeper into their work with ever-increasing love, compassion, and curiosity.
Vincent (they/them) is a musician, composer, artist and designer. They were drawn to intuitive work through studying abstract art and improvisational music, which connected them to the spiritual and the otherworldly. Vincent uses tarot and meditation during readings. They are particularly attuned to working with people who deeply value their own creative lives. Vincent has worked as a peer counselor and volunteer in queer, mental health, crisis, and recovery spaces. Vincent is guardian to 18 spiders, 2 snakes, and one tiny, bossy dog named Kiki.
Amanda (she/her) began practicing intuitive readings with tarot in 1992 during the early years of rave, a subculture based on music and dance that fundamentally informs who she is today. Amanda utilizes tarot as the anchoring tool in her readings.
Like Vincent, she is creative — she holds an MFA in creative writing and also dances and collages. Amanda develops creativity programs for elders, adults with disabilities, and formerly incarcerated folks. She worked as a case manager for years, serving unhoused HIV+ folks, elders, and adults with disabilities. Amanda also worked as a music journalist and nightclub columnist in the 1990s and early 2000s, chronicling the global dance music community and club culture.
